What is covered?

Home policies come in all shapes and sizes from very basic boiler service plans all the way to full home cover. The key to getting the most value from your cover is to know exactly what you have covered and wether you need it.

Time and time again customers call when the boiler has broken down only to find out that they are only paying for a boiler service plan and a costly boiler repair is not covered

What to expect…

When taking out most boiler cover this will include an annual gas safety check. Please note that this can be carried out any time within the first year.

If you join Property plan in the colder months then we may not send an engineer until later in the year. This is that all the engineers are busy repairing boilers and making sure the people without heating or hotter are happy through the winter. In the warmer quieter months we have the man power to take on all the servicing work

What to do when you need help!

There are a number of ways you can report a fault. Property plan prefer that a claim is logged online via the customer portal and the customer sends as much information as possible so that the problem can be dealt with effectively. If its out of hours and an emergency please call the appropriate emergency helpline number.

All this information is given to you when you sign up to a property plan.

Honesty

Property Plan offer a top drawer service and this only can be achieved if there is mutual respect between both us and the customer. So if your boiler is working and only has a slight fault and can wait a few days please let us know, we can prioritise our jobs accordingly.

Also when property plan come to do your initial service please let the engineer know of any underlying problems you may have. this way they can be addressed beforehand and not cause any issues down the line.
